Can you visit schools outside Central Ohio?
Answer: Yes. For non‑Central Ohio schools, we offer virtual author visits in a similar 30‑minute format, as well as custom options that fit your schedule and technology setup. Reach out through the contact form with your location and preferred dates, and we’ll recommend the best format and share a quote.
What topics do you speak on during school visits?
Answer: School visits with Wendell The Giant Dachshund focus on helping students feel seen, valued, and brave. Presentations can cover themes such as anti‑bullying, being brave, the 5 Second Rule of Kindness, self esteem, feeling valued, and other age appropriate character topics that can be tailored to your students.
Before retiring to become a stay at home mom to CJ, Nicci ran a successful dog grooming business for over a decade, and now she and CJ go on countless adventures with the homeschool group she built and leads.

For Central Ohio elementary schools that book before February 20 and send a preorder offer for our Wendell The Giant Dachshund books to parents, we will waive or significantly reduce our speaking fees.
We also do special book bundles, not available on Amazon. These bundles include the books at a discount, plus Wendell's Pawtograph, and a Wendell bookmark.
We can do a similar program virtually for non Central Ohio Schools.

Our talks are designed primarily for elementary students, with content that works especially well for grades K–4.
